Wealth & Equity Learning Series
Disinvestment, rugged individualism, and racist policies have led to the incredible wealth gap, locally and nationally. Through this five-session series, we will look at strategies for wealth building through an equity lens, and draw from community wisdom on how we can create an economically interdependent and vibrant city. Each session will provide a combination of historical context, interactive discussion, and tools to support your personal or community wealth building journey. Sessions will include topics such as:
De-Mystfying Wealth Personally and Communally
Ownership, Property and Land: Past & Present
Banking, Savings & Credit
Education, Investing & Social Capital
