Gardening, cooking and home buying workshops are just a few of the many activities offered at the PNC Fairfax Connection. Join us to experience programs or develop new skills. Wither you are looking for educational classes like Basic Computer Skills, financial education classes, workshops on topics like Writing and Small Business Development or family learning activities like Families in the Kitchen, the PNC Fairfax Connection offers a variety of programs for all ages.

Saturday, June 25: 12:30 – 1:30 p.m.
Yoga for Beginners – Whether you are new to yoga or have a taken a couple of classes, this is the best place for you to start. Yoga is a unique way of strengthening and toning your body, improving flexibility and enhancing your sense of well-being. All ages welcome.
Saturday, June 18: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Homebuyers Workshop – Learn the basics of the home ownership process. Learn the advantages and disadvantages of home ownership, financing, mortgage types and much more.
Tuesday, June 21: 5:30 – 7 p.m.
Gardening in a Pot – Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or this is the first time you’ve broken ground, cultivate your skills by learning how to plant a garden in a pot! There is so much to cover: soil preparation, seed selection and equipment needed as you create your very own garden in a pot! Come cultivate! All ages are welcome!
Thursday, June 30: 3 – 5 p.m.
Cooking Camp – Calling all future chefs! Do you love to cook? Join us to learn basic cooking techniques and prepare a healthy meal to share. Ages 10+.

PNC Fairfax Connection is a free community resource center at 83rd St. and Carnegie designed to strengthen and connect the community by empowering area residents and businesses to achieve their goals while celebrating the community’s rich history and heritage. Everyone from toddlers to teens to grandparents – individuals and business owners alike – can access innovative technology, educational opportunities, chances to connect with each other and exciting new experiences.
