Neighbor Up members had a powerful and productive night at Connect: Meet Up for Entrepreneurs! The event was started to create a space of mutual support and good information for entrepreneurs, – especially those who have been historically and systemically discouraged or overlooked. When we support one another, we can rise all boats and begin to re-weave the economic fabric of our communities from within.
More than 45 people gathered on July 26th in Glenville’s newest black-owned business, 3rdSpace coffee shop and Action Lab, a building with a significant history of black entrepreneurship. As people connected they also shared what they have to offer through themselves or their business, what supports they are seeking, and their wishes for the new space.
