Apply for a Grant

Neighborhood Connections offers small grants to groups of residents in Cleveland and East Cleveland to do projects that improve the quality of life in their communities. Grants range from $500 to $5,000. Proposals are accepted twice each year on the second Friday in February and August. (In 2018, those dates are February 9 and August 10.) Proposals must be received by 5 p.m. on those days. No group may.

What Is the Grant Making Committee?

To ensure that we fund neighborhood priorities, a Grant Making Committee of Cleveland and East Cleveland residents reviews all Neighborhood Connections grant applications and makes final decisions about which proposals are funded and at what level. Current committee members select new members from all areas of Cleveland and East Cleveland. Committee members serve three-year terms. Application Timeline

Attend a Grantseeker Orientation Session Before completing your grant application, please attend a grantseeker orientation session. We host these meetings in the month before each grant deadline to assist grantseekers in preparing their applications and to answer questions.
