Exercise promotes physical, mental and spiritual health, according to reports by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and researchers at the University of Illinois’s Department of Kinesiology and Community Health. Based on these findings, physically active children have stronger bodies and more self-esteem compared to inactive children. Also, they behave well in school, and test better on standardized exams. Soon, more East Cleveland children may reap.

Featured FOOD RECIPE:  Maxi’s Fatmir Billai By NV STAFF Posted:  October 8, 2010 at 8:00 AM   CALAMARI Ingredients: 10 oz. Calamari 6 oz. Marinara sauce 1 Clove garlic (slice paper-thin) 1 Lemon + lemon juice Salt + pepper Oregano Olive oil Flour Preparation: 1)    Cut calamari into strips and then fry lightly in flour. (Don’t fry too much!) Meanwhile:  Prepare pan with olive oil, garlic and marinara sauce. 2)    Sautee calamari in pan until golden brown. 3)    Sprinkle with lemon juice, salt.
